Final Illusion is a technology fiction and dream press franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and developed and had by Square Enix (formerly Square). The franchise centers around some fantasy and research fantasy role-playing video gaming (RPGs). The eponymous first game in the series, shared in 1987, was conceived by Sakaguchi as his last-ditch work in the overall game industry; the name was successful and spawned sequels. The gaming series has since branched into other styles such as tactical role-playing, action role-playing, massively multiplayer online role-playing, rushing, third-person shooter, fighting with each other, and tempo. The franchise in addition has branched out into other advertising, including CGI movies, anime, manga, and books.
Although most Last Dream installments are stand-alone tales with different configurations and main character types, they feature equivalent elements define the franchise. The series established fact for its technology, visuals, and music, including the addition of full movement videos, photo-realistic personality models, and music by Nobuo Uematsu. Last Fantasy is a driving pressure in the gaming industry, and the series has damaged Square Enix's business tactics and its interactions with other gaming developers. It offers popularized many features now common in role-playing game titles, also popularizing the genre all together in market segments outside Japan.
